The following statement  explains our policy regarding the personal information we collect about you.

Statement of intent

From time to time, you will  be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email  address etc) in order to receive or use services on our website. Such services  include newsletters and email bulletins. By entering your details in the fields  requested, you enable Toulson Jones Jewellers and its service providers to provide  you with the services you select. Whenever you provide personal information, we  will treat that information in accordance with our privacy policy. Our services  are designed to give you the information that you want to receive. Toulson  Jones Jewellers will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet  current internet best practice.

Use and storage of personal information

When you supply any  personal information to Toulson Jones Jewellers we have legal obligations in  the way we use this data. & nbsp; Any information  you provide to us will only be used within the business. It will never be  supplied to anyone outside our business, unless we are obliged or permitted by  law to disclose it.

 

We will hold your personal  information on our systems until the transaction is complete, and then delete responsibly. We  will not store your financial or personal information on any of its systems  once the transaction process & nbsp;is complete.

 

Orders placed using credit and debit cards are  taken by WorldPay which complies with the  Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. All card details you provide to  us are used for payment and are then deleted. Any payment transactions will be  encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or have chosen) a  password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are  responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a  password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet  is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal  data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site;  any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information,  we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent  unauthorised access. Items will only be sent to the address that the card being  used for payment is registered at.

We will ensure that all  personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data  Protection Act 1998.
